Discover how to identify the difference between a moth versus a butterfly as well as the most commonly seen butterflies in Northern Ohio, where and when to find them.
Speaker: Rachel Shamy
Rachel Shamy has experience working with Toledo Metroparks doing the Butterfly Transect counts and also the North American Butterfly Association doing the count for the Oak Openings region. As an all-around nature lover she volunteers with Nature's Nursery, does programs about Monarchs and volunteers with the Black Swamp Bird Observatory doing bird extraction for the Banding Station.
