11:30-12:00am - Learn more about Wild Ones Greater Cleveland and other community efforts
Tour 1 will head north and explore what was the former canal neighborhood and canal remnants. The recent restoration of the Little Cuyahoga River will be featured and how the ‘big dig’ sewer project has impacted the environment.
Tour 2 will head south to the former Schumacher mill site. The story of early Akron’s industrial center will be discussed and the Monarch Waystation will be featured.
