Come visit to be inspired by native plants and local gardeners!
9am -10:30am - Oberlin Prairie Tour 425 W Hamilton St. Oberlin, OH 44074 - Come see what Western Reserve Land Conservancy has done with 30 acres of farmland and a vision of prairie and wildlife habitat. 10 years ago, this was a monoculture of soybeans. Now it is a diverse plant community, Monarch breeding ground and pollinator cornucopia. Kate Pilacky, WRLC’s associate field director for the western region and lead project organizer of the Oberlin Preserve will be our tour guide.
