Join Wild Ones Greater Cleveland for a casual social and included we will discuss how to battle a common NEO invasive vine: English Ivy. Come learn about invasive management within the urban environment.

During this social we'll have a bit of education on what English Ivy is, its ornamental popularity and spread as a garden store staple, why it is so detrimental to our biodiversity, how to properly remove it, and then provide some uses for the Ivy once removed from the garden.

This social will be held at our Cuyahoga County's Regional Coordinator, Diab Dar-Issa's house. Registration is required, and exact address will be given once registered.

What do bring: Garden gloves, pruners, small garden tools, and the best and most efficient tool for English Ivy removal - your own bare hands! Dress for the weather as this social and removal exercise will take place outside.

Sandwiches and water will be provided.

Parking is on-street, though Diab does have room in his drive for 1-2 cars for those with mobility issues.
