The Importance of Native Plants – Free Virtual Class
Native plants play a critical role in supporting pollinators, birds, and other wildlife, while helping to restore healthy soil, improve water quality, and strengthen local ecosystems.
Join us for a free virtual class, The Importance of Native Plants, to explore why these plants matter — and how small choices in our own yards and communities can lead to meaningful change.
You’ll also learn more about Wild Ones Greater Cleveland, a local chapter of the national nonprofit Wild Ones: Native Plants, Natural Landscapes. Our chapter is focused on raising awareness, providing education, and supporting habitat restoration through community programs, public events, and native garden projects across Northeast Ohio.
️ Wednesday, June 25 • 7:00–8:00 PM (ET)
Online – RSVP required
️ Free and open to all
Whether you're just getting started or already growing native plants, this session will leave you informed, inspired, and ready to take the next step.
