Join our team
Events Coordinator – Help plan and coordinate the chapter’s participation in special public events and fundraising activities. Responsibilities: Coordinate member participation in special events to result in educational opportunities for the public and fundraising for the chapter. Arrange for chapter display storage, transportation and set up at special events. Ensure an adequate amount of printed materials are available for handouts.
Volunteer Coordinator – Plays a key role in organizing, recruiting, and managing volunteers to support the organization’s mission and activities. This position involves coordinating various aspects of the volunteer program to ensure a positive experience for volunteers and effective support for organizational initiatives.
Social Media Team (2-3 people) – is responsible for managing our online presence and engaging with the audience on various social media platforms. The Social Media team plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with the target audience, and drive organizational goals. Here’s a general description that outlines common responsibilities:
- Content Creation – Educational, Chapter Updates/Announcements, Events & Activities
- Platform Management
- Audience Engagement
- Reporting/Analytics
- Quarterly/Monthly Communication Strategy
Grant Chair – responsible for identifying funding opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of grant-funded projects. This position involves collaboration with internal teams, grant-making organizations, and stakeholders to secure and manage funding for the organization.
Administrative Support (2 people) – These generalist positions will play a crucial role in providing assistance to our organization’s daily operations and help when officers take time off. While specific duties may vary week to week here is a general description that encompasses common responsibilities: chapter communications, emails, scheduling and coordination, meeting minutes, help with presentations and special projects.
Fundraiser Chair – is a leadership position that involves strategizing, planning, and executing various fundraising campaigns and potentially events to keep as many of our education events/activities free and open to the public in an effort to support our mission. Here’s a general description outlining common responsibilities:

Publicity Chair – focused on enhancing the visibility and public image our organization and mission. This role involves developing and implementing publicity strategies, managing communications, and fostering positive relationships with the media and the community.
Keystone Workshop Team – Help us reach our goal of developing and implementing our signature educational programming by joining the team. Make your own role or tell us you’re interested in one of these:
- Develop a workshop plan with educational content and an activity
- Facilitate a workshop (especially looking for 2 people for Cuyahoga)
- Adapt a workshop plan for elementary-aged students
Photography Chair (potentially team) – Help coordinate/capture and manage a record of the chapter’s photos of events and activities for educational, historical, and publicity purposes. Help provide/share photos with social media team and communication team members.
Communication Chair – is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to ensure effective and consistent messaging both internally and externally. This role involves overseeing various communication channels, fostering collaboration, and maintaining a positive organizational image.

Board Members – are individuals who serve on the governing body of a our chapter who contribute their expertise, time, and commitment to ensure the organization’s success in achieving its mission. Key Responsibilities:
